Growing up, I enjoy eating Okras especially, with Salted Fish for Breakfast. Little did I know of the many benefits of this vegetable to the skin. Okras are rich in Vitamin C which, helps keep the skin looking younger and vibrant. The vitamin aids in the growth and repair of the skin. Okra, when used topically on the skin may help to boost, collagen clears pigmentation, and helps to rejuvenate damaged skin.

Now, knowing what I now know about the Okra, I started using it on my skin topically as an Anti - Aging Facial Mask. I am always amazed at the way this has been helping my skin. It has my skin looking so much healthier and gives my skin a natural glow.


HOW TO BOOST COLLAGEN, REMOVE WRINKLES AND SKIN PIGMENTATION AT HOME USING OKRA AND CUCUMBER 


THINGS YOU NEED
1. Bowl
2. Blender 

INGREDIENTS
1. 3 Medium Okra
2. 1 \4 Medium Cucumber 
3. 1/2 Teaspoon Coconut Oil ( substitute Olive Oil, Grapeseed Oil

PREPARATION
1. Extract Okra seeds 
2. Add Okra seeds to Blender 
3. Chop Cucumber into small pieces and add to blender
4. Blend Cucumber and Okra seeds to a creamy consistency
5. After Blending add Coconut Oil to the Cucumber and Okra mixture and mix 
    well
6. Set mixture aside for 1/2 hour in the refrigerator to chill

HOW TO USE

1. Apply in a circular motion on clean skin
2. Completely cover the face with the mask
3. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes
4. Rinse off, preferably with cold water, pat-dry the skin, and apply your favorite beauty                products 
5. Use mask AM- PM 
6.Use 2 to 3 times per week
6. Use mask daily also
7. Store in the refrigerator for 7 days
